DEFIANT starts working quickly. In the first few hours you may notice more ants as they swarm the bait to carry it back to the colony. Full colony elimination can take up to two weeks depending on the severity of the infestation. Most people see results in about three days.
Can DEFIANT be used in homes with kids and pets?+

Cleaning DEFIANT Liquid Ant Bait off the stations is easy. Soak the reusable stations in hot water for about five minutes, then use a sponge and soap to wipe the station clean.
My liquid bait has hardened. Is it still effective?+
Yes. Borax, the active ingredient, does not diminish over time and is still effective. Like a lollipop, ants are still drawn to hardened bait. That said, adding more liquid bait is recommended, as it is the most efficient way to bait ants.
